The ancient kings contemplated the regions of the world and understood their people. Before you act, you must see. The ablution has been made but the offering has not yet been given — there is a sacred pause between preparation and action.
Hexagram 20, Guan (Contemplation), is one of the most philosophically rich hexagrams. Wind over Earth — the invisible force that touches everything, the observer who sees all.
